Wow, this was insanely good! The combination of the real-world context with your iconic style of immersive storytelling really brought this entire project to life in a way that only you could.
I also have to applaud the superb narration. Your cadence of speaking was perfect and the music you chose was haunting and atmospheric without ever being intrusive.
You should 10000% continue narrating! I loved everything about this.
Thank you again for always being so supportive of my work. I was hesitant to jump into narration, but with all of this support, I may have no choice but to continue. ;) And even though my Virgo side enjoys pointing out all of the flaws in my work, I enjoyed this process immensely and will definitely continue exploring this path.
As a fellow Virgo, I get it, but this was incredibly well done, especially for a first attempt. You have excellent instincts for narration, and the audio editing is better than my stuff for sure, haha.
Needless to say, the world would be worse off without more of your narration, so I’m glad to hear you’re doing to keep exploring this! 👏🏻
You got right into Lovecraft country and pulled me in there with you. Congratulations for your spot on this week's Top In Fiction. I'm jealous. But you deserve it.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and I look forward to expounding on the "fact or fiction" part in the coming weeks. It should be fun! ;)
This is the perfect story for a narration, and the way you did it was absolutely perfect!
I will say, there were a couple times for me where the background music was a bit too loud to hear your voice, but other than that it was perfect!
Your voice sounds super familiar too 😂 I think you should absolutely keep narrating!
Last thought, I believe that dreams bring you to another worldor tineline, so if this truly was a dream you had, I believe that you did come in contact with an Eldritch terror.
Thank you. Thank you! I truly appreciate the support and the honest feedback. I agree that the final mix was a little heavy on the background track at a few points. I was having trouble with that when editing. I tried listening both through headphones, where I felt the music bed was too loud, and through speakers, where I felt it was not loud enough. It was a learning experience, and I look forward to honing this skill as a great accompaniment to my writing. Thanks again!
And I should say that the last line of your comment was chill-inducing. But I will save spoilers for a bit, to allow everyone a chance to read the story, "unadulterated."
I will say again and again that the beauty with which you write and the selection and combination of words used to convey your story is pure art. The reading is as good as the story! Superior work!
Thank you so much for the ongoing support and feedback! It truly means a lot to know that people aren't just looking, but are really paying attention. I'm glad the work is resonating, and I hope to continue creating things you enjoy! :)

That wavelength thing is becoming more focused by the minute. Haha!

I just realized that it's riddled with typos 😅
I have a lot of crazy dream stories that have made me believe that way 😂
